In Americas Army 2: Special Forces you play to reach green berret status by completing different missions from the SFASP (Special Forces Assigment and Selection process).

With many different training missions to help you get used to the controls in the game, such as: Weapons Specialist, Intelligence, Engineer, Communications, and Combat Medic.

There is a choice of network or single player mode. You can be a part of the team to go on various Americas Army missions such as: search & rescue, surveillance, reconnaissance and unconventianal warfare.

Americas Army players can choose from many weapons in the game: the MP5SD6 Remington 870 shotgun, the AT4 (anti tank rocket) and BDM (for bunker demolition).

America's Army game play is so realistic that you are bound by the rules of a soldier; Honour, duty and integrity. Another feature is that mission completion is not only based on who was defeated but also on team effort and how well they abided to the soldiers' terms of conduct.
